Having bought a relative amount of Black Tac equipments, I was just wondering, wouldn't it be a waste if I couldn't use them often? So, I know that Black Tac participates in major events like AFA, Street fest, Cos fest ...etc... Was just wondering, how exactly do we do "cosplay" together. Do you do meeting points? Photography sessions maybe? Booth Meet up? etc. or is it just fun fun meet meet. Hoping to join Black Tac team by cosplaying a soldier (Haven't decided on which one yet) on day 1. Currently tracking Black Tac uniform thread. Day 2 will be doing my own cosplay with my buddies. -ps- I hope that comments on AFA 2010 can be posted here so that it is easy for me/us to refer to within the forums. There is a tactical thread to show off your tactical gears^^
Often, you can turn up on the event on your own (With your weapons and gears kept in BAGS). Go to the BT booth (If there is one) to leave your belongings there.
Or you can chose to tag along with people here,
eg. meet city hall MRT at XX:XX time. so at XXXXhrs, meet up and perhaps wait for all the members agreeing to meet up to show up. Very late members are often on their own after that. If there is lunch, so there is. If there isnt, you are on your way to the event with your brothers in arms.
When at the venue, you can change in toilets. Roam around the ALLOWED location with your weapons only. Do not roam outside. It is best if you stay with the BTU group. (The group that costumes Black Tactical Unit)
We do not often or so far have not had a photography session. I would say its alittle of the fun fun meet meet kind.

You even have to pay to be inside. Its a really big event. It would be nice that i can even turn up for it outside. |

Cosplayers who register for the event needn't pay last year. But I believe need to cosplay an existing character only. No Original Characters allowed. |
