Hi,

I am a first year student of a local polytechnic and we have chosen to do a military related short video as part of our project.

As we have no given budget (everything is from our own pockets), we would buy the toy guns from Black Tactical, but before burning a big hole in our pockets, I would like to ask if any bros here would be kind enough to rent us your weapons for a day or two. We will pay an agreeable amount, heck if anyone also has military styled costumes we would also rent them too.

Our shoot is estimated to be around one to two days.  Smiley If you have any questions feel free to ask them.

it'll be better for you to rent from professionals such as www.16by9productions.sg who have student rates.

most people here are students or hardcore modders or maybe even both who spend hundreds if not thousands on the hobby.

I recommend you buy a few of the toy guns from BT and spray them. Cheaper in the long run if you intend to do another military short film.

Costume wise would be good to rent but same thing, if you invest on them it will be cheaper in the long run for your future projects.

Try to keep your spending cost down. Spend only the important stuffs instead of overspending and not getting any practical results in the end.

Thanks for the replies guys, as for the above question, we estimate it 2-3 weapon props, we will be going to BT to buy them.

Btw, anyone have any fashion tips for dressing as a Special Forces guy with everyday wardrobe? We won't be able to afford a full BDU, so we are trying to imitate a SAS civilian type look, if you know what I mean.
