hi guys, i'm new to this hobby.. just picked up an MP5 from a friend and did quite alot of touching up with the paint and craftwork. Quite a beauty I would say, this comes with an AK47 buttstock instead of the usual flimsy stock. There's also a metal barrel to increase the weight apart from using putty. I wouldn't say it's the neatest and cleanest mod yet, but i'm definitely working on it !!   Thanks guys, hope to learn more from being here in the forums  |

Well guys, in my defense, I did mention I picked it up from a friend who said he got it online. And I never did say i was the one who attached the buttstock, I never said I did the barrel mod.
I merely mentioned the only thing I did was to touch up the paint to a more matte finish because the original one looked abit too cheap and plasticky. It might be just a layer or primer, followed by paint and lacquer, but for a first timer who managed to do a pretty even paint job, I think it's a good enough accomplishment on my part.
Maybe you guys find what I did a little too simple, but y'all have definitely been in the field much longer than me right so duh it may be nothing much to you.

maybe it's my fault I didn't mention clearly at first about the mods that I made, over the original mods. I hope I've rectified this.
I never said I attached the metal barrel
I never said I installed the AK buttstock.
But I did touch up the paint and if isn't up to your standard, staromega, you still needn't whine and be sarcastic by saying "as for "neatest and cleanest mod yet", wow manz.".
Your mods pro la, unlike mine. So what ? You want a golden star sticker ? Or how bout a lollipop ?

Gotta agree. You may not have done anything wrong, but please do make efforts to avoid misunderstandings like this one. Phrasing and expression is very important in a forum post.
