Just got a Royal Blue Saber from the Black-Tactical Booth down at Funan Mall, was supposed to get it yesterday but due to issues with fear of Singaporeans staring at me and getting worried I might go on a rampage while holding the blade, it took me another day to bring down a Katana pouch for it...
Under dim lighting:

Under the codename: BLACK SABERS by Kit Sabers (
http://kitsabers.blogspot.com/), the sabers looks pretty awesome especially with added effects and a paint-job. The battery holder's hidden in the sabers' handles, although I would wanna get a piece of foam and wrap around the holder before sliding it in as I dislike it whenever I swing the saber and the holder rattles like crazy inside the handle, which I'm afraid that the wire might snap(touch wood) due to the holder hitting the walls THAT much.
Blue Sabers run on 4 AAA batteries
Royal Blue Sabers run on 4 AAA batteries
Green Sabers run on 4 AAA batteries
Red Sabers run on 3 AA batteries
Cyan Sabers run on 4 AAA batteries
Orange Sabers run on 3 AA batteries
and White Sabers run on 4 AAA batteries
To me, Blue Sabers have a Dark and Cool look,
Royal Blue Sabers have a Cool and Mighty image(pretty much why I got it in the first place),
Red Sabers have a Strong and an Evil Aura(thank you Siths),
White Sabers have a "Holy" and somewhat "On-top-of-everything" ownage power to it,
Green and Cyan Sabers have that ghostly and Ectoplasm feel to it(like the light's made from ghost goo),
and finally Orange... well... it sorta gives me the image of a bodyguard ^_^
Whatever color best describes you, go for it!
The blades are obviously made from Polycarbonate(80cm), costing at $85 and with a strong material like that, grab 2 sabers, a friend and you guys'll be trying as hard to 'remove' each another as possible. I'm guessing that the sabers use Luxeon III as the light source as in the dark or even with dim light, the Royal Blue saber I had gave me a friggin' flash-bang when I turned it on for the first time O.Oll *Eye twitches*
Although, for those with a mindset of saving money might wanna get rechargeable batteries to go with em, even with 4 AAA / 3 AA's worth of juice in each saber, power will still be sapped from the batteries as time moves on. It's a good thing I got myself an Eneloop Family Pack on Monday ^_^
