I need some advice.
I have no idea how to spray paint the "wood" parts on the AK, so i've decided to just spray it all black.
Will it turn out good?
(have yet to buy the gun)

No need.u just take masking tape and mask the wood parts and spray black.then remove the tape and let the black dry first.after dry already u take masking tape and tape the places that are not wood.u go find a colour that is similar to wood, and spray over the wooden parts.remove the masking tape and let it dry.

Dude next time don't make a new thread. Simply ask it in the random thread or just read the tutorials in the Modding Discussion.

good or not is up to whether u like it or not if u like it then it's good if not no matter what others say also no use.... but bear in mind do not rush painting if not it'll be a chore to repair

Hi Bro, check out my AK47 mod video at You Tube:

Then you decide for yourself if all black is nice and acceptable for you.

cheers

this will be a tough one.

first get a sample of wood pattern, paint the contours/lines using a fine tip paint brush, then brush several thin coats of wood lacquer (the type with a slight orange/brown tint on it), then seal it with semi gloss clear coat

or get a wood pattern dry transfer or wallpaper...cut/trim and transfer to the parts desired. lacquer with wood lacquer then seal with semi gloss clear coat
