Will be doing mods soon so I figured I might aswell make a thread so its easier for me to update Tongue...somehow.

First step: Namely: Taidi M4 and Mk18 LMT SOPMOD Crane stock.
For my ranger outfit I'll be doing the M4A1 SOPMOD Block 1. Got these from a friend.

The taidi M4 with all its components.

The Mk18 LMT SOPMOD Crane stock. It's a good buy. Well priced and worth every penny with ruggedness and lightweight. It even comes with a QD Sling mount and a slip of paper of how to call in support and how to organize, at the last-minute, an attack manouvre  Grin

The Mk18 LMT stock with the Taidi M4. Even without any mods, the stock makes all the difference and brings beauty to the M4, such eye-candy. Cool

I'll be getting the rest of my cosplaying gear in time to come. Cosplaying is a fairly expensive hobby Tongue. Also will be doing mods for my weapon loadout.

Small update. Added the LMT CQB Rear sight. IMHO I think it fits but the scope just doesn't look right, makes it look cluttered Undecided
Took me 1 hour to file off the bloody stoppers at the rear near the charging handle to fit the rear sight Cry but well worth the time spent, if you ask me Cool

Updates coming soon. Going gear hunting tomorrow Grin

taidi plastic is strong enough if you are pulling small bits off,but for big piece, use a cutter.

Todays gear hunt turnout:

Canteen pouch. Many ways to open and close this, but I chose this way.

Tan-green moisture-wicking, quick-dry socks.

And finally, the Pièce de résistance of my gear hunt.

*DRUM ROLL*

Delta Tan boots. Looks great from this angle imho. Bargain from $99 to $90. Save $10 that allowed me to buy the canteen pouch.

Delta logo. abit blurry cos my hands were shaking.

Shoelace with velcro and zipper closure. An awesome feature, if you ask me.

I deem today's gear hunt a success in my terms. No pictures of the bag cos I forgot :\ But I figured that the bag is like the ranger bag with the addition of 1 or 2 more compartments. If you guys were curious, the yellow thing on the bag is a velcro-backed yellow reflective tape.

More gear stuff coming soon...hopefully...

Btw guys, is there anyway to identify an MBAV if you see one? I was at Beach Rd buying my stuff and I saw a vest that looks abit like RT's MBSS but I dare not buy cos it was quite expensive.

Mods, I'm sorry if posting the following message is considered advertising but I just needed confirmation about ordering gear online from a particular company.

I also want to order my OD MICH-2000 helmet from RedWolfAirsoft but I scared lost in mail. Has anyone ordered from RedWolfAirsoft's website before? How did it go?

dont buy vest from there, get from online.redwolf shipping is awesome, just 2-3 days for express shipping.an MBAV looks similar to a EPC,like i said before, there is no MBAV on the market, only EPCs,the MBAV has soft armor sewn in,or in this case, you can just wear a soft armor underneath your EPC..
