I tried to make also using PVC with my sewing machine.  Failed badly.

Probably better by hand, but then it is going to be untidy unless you dont mind the face of Dr Jack.  Also your finger might not make it unless you got special tools like those shoe maker has.

Random is right, there is also quite a few choice available at BT store and black market incl. this one for 1911 colt

thanks for the advise.. yup.. i know there are alot in ebay. bt self made de once done sure will have a satisfaction ah. haha...

yup... it cant use sewing machine to sew the PVC leather as it is thick. it will break the sewing machine's needle... its better to sew it with bare hands take times and slowly do lor.. sure can sew in neat n tidy de. Smiley

Recycle is good.

By the way, see the holster pic you posted.  The edges all around, you know how to "keep" the edge of a PVC?

Well, I made my holster out of Bag strap, and hell i was happy with it. Just 5 hrs of my time hand sewing it. Just that, handmade stuff dont last that long without proper knowledge. So mine spoiled in like 3 mths.

That happens to me lots of time.  Now I tend to search around first.  Look at the product first,  beyond my skill level and plus price economical just buy straight la.  Dont let resources especially time go into waste.

Most will think DIY is cheap, I will say not necessary, do your sum take into consideration the end product to be presentable and durable.

hrs of work then the short joy then spoil shortly then no enjoy, LL go buy.... I avoid, try.

Hey, to achieve that kind of neat edges on the pvc right, you actually need to fold it first and sew it down. AFTER you've done that then you sew the two peices together with the stiches being at exactly the same place as the stiches which you used to keep the pvc folded. Cheesy
