with the stampede out now, any plans on stampede springs and o-rings?
i found that the plunger is smaller than the longshot's and most current springs offered are just too big in diameter.
managed to fit the mav's spring in tho, but its kinda short to reach the full length.

thnx

btw side-tracking, u guys should try using the longshot v1 springs for all reverse plunger types. it gives it an extra umph!
tested on my longstrike and recon Smiley

Hello, I've replaced the stock spring of my recon with the spring I purchased from BT. My gun is unable to hold it's cocking position and it just slams back. I've tried trimming the spring a little as mentioned and it's still not working. Any suggestions? Would be a shame if my $13 just went to waste ):

Try adding a pen spring to your catch.

Yup. my friend faced the same problem with his long shot. All u need to do is to find another spring. I got lots of springs so after trying out different ones, i managed to solve the problem. Maybe u should find a stronger/longer spring

Perhaps I misunderstood the bit about the catch. Where exactly am I meant attach the pen spring to? Thanks so much for the help by the way!

Actually I've tried cocking it fast as mentioned earlier, it stays for about 2 seconds and then slams back into place :/

I'm sorry TGOW,my bad.

The catch should be the one circle in the picture.
You should see a spring on it,add one to it by coiling the two springs together,or just replace it.
Hope you know what I'm talking.

I've tried replacing the catch spring with a few others and tried coiling a couple of them together, but it just doesn't seem to be staying in the cocking position.

There you go! Not exactly showing what my problem is, I'm not exactly sure how to take a picture of my gun not being able to hold it's cocking position.
