As we all know TGX is round the corner, I will start an article on how to costume properly later at night.

Sorry to be late.
I apologize to all.
Let's begin Part 1:
What you wanna costume in TGX ?
My suggestions is get a In-Game Character to do.
I am sure have plenty to go around. If you are still stuck with Soap MacTavish, Ghost or Kaptin Price.
Then I suggest go to the library and read up on Andy McNab, Richard Marcinko & Tom Clancy.
Plus DO A THOROUGH RESEARCH ON YOUR CHARACTER.
The Internet is awash with info.
Then plan for your loadouts.
You are costuming as Military Operative not a Weapons Rack, you should not be festooning with weapons !
1.) Primary Weapon
2.) Secondary Weapon
3.) Hand to Hand Weapon
4.) Pouches for ammo and clips
5.) Utility pouches for the odds and ends ( yes, something like Batman)
6.) Water container; be it bottles or water bags
7.) Anything you forget ?
A Military Operative has his basic equipments, plus his wits and training to survive life-harrowing situations.
Not by using the "Safe/Load Game" option !

Now for the Next Part:
Even before the event or the big day;
Do not forget to try the outfit on & Look in the Mirror.
No self respecting Costumer is going to look like a slob with saggy BDU and ill fitting boots.
Get the outfit altered if necessary.

Now a general checklist for all:
1.) Props for weapons ?
2.) Are they durable ?
3.) Got the correct bags for transport ?
4.) The BDU / Uniform dress ready ?
5.) Altered ?
6.) You are ready ?
7.) Discipline for a Good image projection ?
