bro,doesn't look like OD.. looks darker..somewhere between ranger green and smoke green.. BDU or flight suit...should be olive drab...whereas his 2nd line maybe between that of ranger green and foliage green. Think i know the guys beside barry....he is from mm and an army regular |

Erm bro, removing padding will only make the mich sit lower...try lowering the shroud and wearing it without the goggles... As seen in this pic...the helmet looks wider at the sides..maybe its a XL size?   |

Is griphon on the right? I think it seems like either the helmet is sitting too high or the headset is too low... Barry's one here looks just nice...  Like recon mentioned, rearrange the pads accordingly, not all 6 side pads have to be used...  Looks good overall though! |

Barry's helmet is alright, just that the helmet seems abit bigger than the normal replicas. If i aint wrong, most Michs are replicated using a Medium/Large Size SDS or Gentex helmet thus the bumpy surface and shape, Barry's could have being a Large/x-Large version. Whats impt is the comfort and fit as many have different nogging sizes I like the pad config on the mich 2001...looks like its following the opscore pad arrangement |

Some observations .. Barry: you mich looks abit oversized...bottom edge of the shroud should be about 1 cam from the edge of the helm. Griphon got it right on the placement of the shroud Griphon: Yeah you need a bigger helm..maybe you can do a swap with barry Xashrix: Need to lower the mich more as its sitting abit high...maybe have to re-configure your helm pads. Yep. Did a full AAR on Sunday and yes, it's 1 of the many changes/adjustments/improvements on my list, which I hope to start off late June through to end of August. L2P was a great 1st cosplay debut experience for me, got to field-trail test my loadup and find the flaws around. EDIT: A full helmet ''makeover for adjustments'' is planned on paper already, gonna start work on it soon. |
