Calling all Black-Tactical members! Here's some history to be made: FrontLine Airsoft will be hosting the first ever Airsoft tournament in Singapore!
You are warmly invited to join in this ground-breaking event on 18 September 2010, 9am to 5pm! If you have never heard of airsoft, let alone play it, pre-game briefing and introduction will be done.

A compiled set of rules, regulations and what-to-know will be issued to Team Captains on a pre-tournament Captains' meeting. This meeting will be announced soon! The meeting is where team captains can be completely aware of the game situations and look at the field layout.

A peek into what lies in store - Trophies for members of the top 3 teams, official photography, and a special segment, the Top Gun competition where each team pits their best player against each other! And yes, a trophy for that too Smiley

There will be cash prizes too!
1st place - $50
2nd place - $40
3rd place - $30

The tournament format is as such: Shoot down a number of targets and bring the barrel back to the home base while fending off the opposition. Qualifying games will be Round-robin, best of three. This means that in each game, 2 matches will be played. If the score is a draw, a final match is played to determine the winner. The winner then moves to play against another opponent. If the team wins again, it moves on to the semifinals, and so on. To ensure a high level of competition, hits on ANY body part including hands and legs will be counted. Gun hits will not be counted. The Top Gun segment will have a similar format.

The cost is S$230 per team of 5. This includes purchase of ammunition and rental of equipment / the field. Look out for our posters and form your teams of 5! Otherwise no worries, just turn up on the day and we'll fit you into a team.

See you there!

It's per team.. that equals to $10 per person. We don't have sponsorship so can't really give too much after all the costs have been included..

Registration costs more than winning the first prize?

Not to be mean, I'd want to go just for the fun, but 18th Sept... I'm having my promos ):

All the best!
Yeah, like mentioned, this is the first airsoft tournament so we can't really promise too many things.. We did consider that but had to keep the cost for everyone as close to the normal game fee of $35 per person, otherwise only the winners would benefit Smiley

The upside is that winners get bragging rights and everyone gets official photography of themselves.. so remember to gear up sui sui Cheesy
Oh, we might be organising training sessions at really low rates, amongst other things include consolation prizes for those who didn't make it to the Podium!
Thanks for the feedback!

Hmm... on a side note I realise FrontLine Airsoft was featured in last Sunday's Sunday Times. No wonder it sounded familiar...

i saw the field before.  it is more suited for ipsc style airsoft and team paintball style rather then full airsoft play.  it does not compare to playing in hong kong or the states and at 200 plus bones it is realy expensive ....  but what the hell....count me in.  sure beats playing nerf.

by the way guys we need some training to get our body in shape and tactical runs.

maybe we should have more then 1 team

well, CrazyNuT, it's in september, about a month and a half from now, which should give you some time to still source for sponsorship!
