randomtrader: No only one magazine has been used. Can't use 2 mags cos the lines running across the magazine in not a mirror reflection. Had to extend it using steel putty and some plastic. The magazine release lever was taken from the AK-47.

shadowk: The buttstock is originally similar to the Taidi M4 carbine without the lock, so for me actually the toughest mod was the rail system. If you have seen the actual toy you would know what i mean... the cheek pad was also  originally screwed on to the buttstock. Much work... sweat

So it's just slidable without a locking mechanism?

yupp, just one big tube right in the center. Had to cut the main body to install the steel tube rails.

Yup! Extended with aluminium tube and a smaller steel tube within that stretches across the whole barrel.

Actually it was one of those hangers for toilets i got from a daiso type store.. Tongue
Can't get smaller than 15mm dia. steel tubes from hardware stores. Though you can find steel/brass acrylic tubes from Artfriend of many sizes ranging from 12mm - bout 18mm dia. but costly.

Respect man, that is s-w-e-e-t! Very  cool. I thought about an adjustable cheek pad for mine, yours looks like the real thing. Respect!
