holy crap... I think i would look better with the original front part of the longshot instead of the recon front part  do you still have it? how does it look like?  nah, the twin barrel of the original front looks odd when I extend the main barrel. Given the part to my nephew. |

Not a bad job.
If i could make a few suggestions
Color - If the whole weapon is the same color, i'd suggest re-spraying either all matte or gloss. Half Half dont look right.
Magazine - If you cannibalized a M4 for this mod you should have the main body left. Saw out the magazine then cut the shape exactly to fit under the recon hand guard
Scope - Maybe buy a nicer one? lol

Did you cut out the muzzle and attached it on to the barrel to give it the "short" look? I've been thinking of getting one more m4 from BT and try to mod it to look like an HK 416 but not sure how to go about doing it. Any ideas??

Yup, I used the stock recon barrel, added the M4 muzzle for that CQB look.
I've spent some time thinking about a HK416 mod as well, the hard part is getting the billet/foregrip to look accurate.
One idea was the cut the top part of the M203 grenade launcher, then mounting it over the original M4 foregrip. This should give you that rectangular angled look.
However, the 416's vents are horizontal lines not holes like the M4 so....another problem lol, maybe use the stock recon foregrip?
I don't have any spare parts lying around to make up a flip up front iron sight too. Perhaps just cut up the M4 front sights and add a modified one from an MP5 or something.
