Well... at cosplaying events I've started to notice this group of photogs who are willing to do some shoots for you for free, it's started by this one guy who's training other photogs in their skills...
Seen him at Cosfest, STGCC and AFA. They take a while to send the pics though, but they're nice, and it's an alternative to really hiring professional photogs to do our shoots heh.

I suggest doing it out in the open rather then in the studio. The feel outdoors will be better. We could shoot at places like punngol lalang field, army museum(where the decom vehicles are) labrador park, or lim chu kang area. i love your work but shooting outdoors with all the guns and stuff is gonna freak too many people out.
While we would not be breaking the law, it really is too much trouble.
trust me, I would like a photo opp in the field. Just like in NS.
I was an army photographer myself. Albeit I stopped shooting for some time.
Would be nice to do a camo test. hahhaha...I think I have to throw a question to the mods.
Dear Mods, whom are the relevant authorities that I would need to inform/seek consent from should I want to shoot outdoors?

good eye dude. Yeah i'm using a D90 normally mounted with a 35mm F1.8 If there are not too many of us, the places i mentioned wun get us too much attention since we are only shooting. Wun cause much problems. I have done a few shoots with models and weapons and no one has stopped me before coz i shoot where there is hardly any souls hahahaha eh btw, what's ur rig? looks Nikonish to me.

I now shoot with a small lumix LX5.
good stuff for a digicam.
I don't know how many of us would want to come tho. Some have already given the nod.
I am tempted to come down in my NS gear minus the SAF no4. supplemented with my own clothes. PMC style.
Where might that locality be? I might know the area too....hahaha..
as long as we're not near Lim Chu Kang i'm fine.
Or maybe we can just ask permission from some of the camp site there to use the place to take photos.
Some urban environment would be good though none of us would want to go to Neo Tiew Village.

if u r worried about ppl seeing i would recommend either punggol lalang field or lim chu kang area. there's NOBODY there. Anyway dun think want too big a crowd too, will be hard if i'm the only photog that day. Dude maybe you could organise it and see how many ppl on?
