GOOD DAY TO ALL NEWBIES! Please ask any questions related to replica guns and stuff like that. The 'old-bird' and 'not-so-old-bird' forumers will do their best to answer your queries, without seeing new topics popping out. THANKS Y'ALL!!

Teach this guy the value and pride that comes from achievement.

If you are man enuff, you don't get nothing unless you work your ass off and earn it.

If they want a kool mod job, they need to earn it.

This will make them appreciate what they have and they will want to take care of it.

It will also teach him the value of property rights.
If they earned it, they KNOW it is theirs and they will want to keep it that way.

Additionally, this will get them into the habit of doing for themselves.

Self reliance is one of the defining traits of MEN.

( Not just do not how to mod or the classic " I am too lazy to mod"or say "I pay you.....I pay you....I pay you", I am annoyed by this bunch of characters.   )

I meant as a form of expression.
I mean if the case is genuine, understandable. ( Like I am a CEO of Fortune 500, and I got no time, for example)
No offense.

If you are doing as form of living or income supplement is OK.
In fact, it is cool.

i remember dragon has a cardboard silencer lol and some other pple also use cardboard to make parts

it's all up to ur imagination as to what u wanna do and how u like it does not even have to look like the real thing if u don't want it to

wa 4.. rich siol...

I have to agree.. You learn from your mistakes.. Exploring now at your age was wad i did.. You can test this and test that. But if you want to treasure your gun, then dont do anything about it let it be what it is now. If you want to mod, prepare for some devastation done to the gun..

Modding is an extra mile to walk to make your gun more realistic then it was. So if you really treasure your gun, i suggest let it be like it is supposed to be. Modding is a high price to pay, which means your gun will be unrecognizable for the modding phase but once you put everything back together its ure gun again! That sense of achievement you get and all the envious comments you get are priceless.

But do take note, if u are determined to do modding, i strongly suggest you do some background reasearch on the gun. I believe at ure age, you dont have much knowledge of the M4a1. So my advice is to go to google.com, do some reaserch, learn on how all the mechanisms work. From there, all these knowledge will aid you in modding ure gun to a perfect realism one.

P.S: But of course dont do it till its almost shoot-able, or end up getting ure hse raided and ure precious rifles stripped like mine Sad

ah the disco light M4 i see.. Try putting putty onto the main body. Dont bother concentrating your putty on the hand grip.

Paint is always flat black, regardless what brand, never get gloss black as guns are not suppose to shine. One piece of advice is, try getting those stainless steel pipes and insert into the barrel through the handguard, it will look nice  Cheesy

As for magazine, you might want to consider defusing the stuffs inside, fill with putty and paint over it. Or, alternatively, you can saw off the entire magazine, get the stanag m16/m4 magazine $15 from BT, then do a removable magazine modification. Of course i would strongly recommend the 2nd option if youre very keen in modding.
