Hi guys Thanks for taking time to read this. I am currently a 2nd year student in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Dip. in Film, Sound & Video. My FSV friends and I are making a short film this March semester break. Our storyline is simply about a brother in search of his missing sister. Along the way, he meets a myriad of characters and gets entangled in a conflict with a loan shark. Using mcguffin, montage and unconventional characters, we pay homages to esteemed figures such as Alfred Hitchcock, Sergei Eisenstein and Jean-Luc Goddard, whom we have learnt so much about in school. Our goal is to submit the short film in next year's Singapore Short Film Festival, and any other local or overseas film festivals, with the hope of gaining recognition in the local film industry. Therefore, we are here to request props sponsorship during our production. As this is an action short, we require the use of gun props. We require mostly handguns and shotguns. We only require it for one day and will settle all safety and legal issues. You are also free to help out as extras. Food and transportation will be provided. If you are interested, please kindly drop an email at info.vendetta@gmail.comThank you

loan shark got use ak one meh, i thought they like to use pig head I get your point, i am seeing it from the perspective of world wide Loan Sharks. And AK is commonly used by Bad people. As for 1911, i believe it is common too. Thus these 2 guns.

asykari, revolver got dissapointment always when he wants to flim for the following reasons i got from fellow members who PM me but do not wish to expose their names. 1.Hes rude, arrogant 2.Need actors to pay him to make the flim while they the actors themself will not get any pay. 3.Actors have to bring their own props 4.He always request people to do things but rudely reply or ask. i think they focus more on revolver's attitude then movie. i don't know how old is revolver, but if hes a grown man,the guys suggest he grow up and learn basic manners. my point of view. no one attends his movie by paying the DIRECTOR money to make his OWN MOVIE while actors get NOTHING,and the DIRECTOR himself also so rude like "you all want anot faster leh pig". no comments

Guys, asykari is just here to request for loan of props (guns/gears). There is no need for lump together wif someone else. But I do foresee a slight prob wif the script. Local loan sharks are pussy ass shit. They dun use guns. They use kids as runners. And when the kids get caught, they usually dun gif up the heads either through fear or misplaced loyality. So unless ur story takes place aboard, I dun see the need of firearms in ur story.... (Just my 2 cents of movie review, hope u dun mind the blunt comment)

Hey guys
As Hummie said, I don't wish to comment on someone else's matters. However, to clarify some concerns - there is an absolute no need to pay me. Instead, we will credit those who help as such and give you a copy of the short film.
As mentioned in my first post, the film borders on unconventionalism - the loan shark in my script is a Japanese man who migrates to Singapore. We have make sure the flow of the story is as such the audiences will believe in the unraveling of events. So yeah, we do need firearms.
Thank you

Now this sounds interesting. Can we keep the other movie business out of this? Will probably get in touch with you when I get home, asykari.
